I started this blog as a way to help aspiring authors and current authors who have a passion to write and a need to increase book sales. The lack of sales can cause discouragement and even the feeling of giving up. But to all my fellow authors, I say hold on, do not give up on your dream of becoming a successful author.
There are a vast number of resources, information, and tools that many people use as a way to increase sales. This could be marketing strategies or hiring someone who promises to increase sales. These strategies have worked for some but not others. This is where I come in.
Marketing is always an excellent way to promote and sell a product or a book. However, marketing is an investment, and it could be costly. If you are a new author and this is your first book, you may not be financially in a position to hire a marketing agency. The average cost to hire a marketing team is $1,800 to $15,000. The price depends on the number of social media platforms, marketing ads such as Google, Amazon, social media, and content creators. The platforms have to be managed, and content is released on a daily basis.
There are individuals who provide marketing services that do not charge as much as an agency. This would consist of a freelancer who may charge on average $24 to $60 per hour with limited services. For full marketing services, a freelancer may charge $50 to $200 per hour.

All of this sounds good if you can afford it, but what if you can't? What do you do? I have a new perspective for this new era we are currently living in. It is unconventional, and it is a strategy that will work when you look at it from a new perspective.
